CEVAT SAKIR KABAAGACLI
Noone has ever described the Aegean coast as poeticly as he has. Cevat Sakir Kabaagaclioglu or with his pen name 'Fisherman of Halicarnassus' was sent to exile to bodrum ( Ancient Halicarnassus ) in 1908 for 3 years and he remained there for 25 years.
Bodrum paid his honour by a monument to the man who inspired this voyage of exploration - the source of enjoyment for many thousands of people for almost 60 years. In fact Cevat Sakir has made bodrum popular as a tourism center.
